The Corporate Communications Manager develops communications content and channels that drive greater awareness, understanding, and engagement with Jenzabars mission, values, strategy, and culture across a range of primarily internal (but also external) audiences and channels.

As part of our small but high-functioning team, the Corporate Communications Manager reports to the VP of Marketing. To be successful in this highly collaborative role, however, the Corporate Communications Manager works seamlessly with the entire marketing team and partners with subject matter experts and leaders across the company and manages all revenue generation digital & traditional marketing activities, optimizing Jenzabar’s messaging through the various channels.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop content, including research and information gathering, writing and editing copy, creating and editing video and images, and posting content to various digital channels, including the company’s intranet and digital signage.
  • Provide executive communications support by working with Jenzabars senior executives to source, draft, and place speeches, memos, and articles.
  • Oversee management of the marketing communications through the various communications channels.
  • Responsible for data governance, management of corporate marketing data and KPI’s.
  • Work with Senior Marketing and PR Manager to generate specifications for marketing campaigns based on creative briefs provided by Product Marketing Managers
  • Optimize content to convey the Jenzabar value proposition to appropriate constituencies with engaging and persuasive messaging and storytelling
  • Ensure assets are integrated across corporate, marketing, and sales programs and campaigns, and optimized for specific delivery channels, including, but not limited to:
  • o Advertising (print & digital)

    o Client communications

    o Client success stories

    o Direct mail

    o Email

    o Whitepapers

    o Newsletters

    o Presentations

    o Press releases and articles

    o Print and digital collateral (brochures, datasheets, etc.)

    o Videos

    o Other

  • Support the marketing team in the day-to-day performance of their jobs including webinars, social media, blog, executive communications, and marketing contact data management
  • Mentors junior marketing associates in copywriting, project management, website content, and digital and email marketing.
  • Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English or similar liberal arts area of study or in a technical field required
  • Writer and content marketer with experience in BtoB tech and consumer tech
  • 6+ years of experience in communications
  • Knowledge of digital tools including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Trends, WordPress, and other CMS systems
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in leveraging both digital and non-digital channels to create communications that drive awareness, engagement and ultimately, impact
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with expertise communicating effectively across both highly technical and general audiences
  • Ability to take complex information and translate it into simple but compelling communications and experiences; equally comfortable communicating about business trends as technological principles
  • Superior editorial and interpersonal skills with a range of communications and project management experience
  • Proven ability to deliver communications that connect with their audiences and have impact on perspectives and actions
  • Demonstrated understanding of tools, techniques, and trends for creativity and innovation in communications production and delivery, as well as the ability to drive change and garner support for “big changes”
  • Proven reputation as a highly-valued communications consultant to key leaders within an organization
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding follow-through skills
  • Naturally upbeat and collaborative but able to work independently to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Able to perform with poise under tight deadlines and shifting priorities, as well as successfully navigate a complex organization to build productive relationships and drive projects and initiatives to a successful conclusion in a timely manner
